In 2024, New York State’s longest standing black bear rehabilitator retired from the field, leaving only one Catskills facility to rehabilitate all of the bears in need throughout NY state. Healthy, orphaned Adirondack cubs have since been euthanized, simply because they have nowhere to go for care.
Gordon Wildlife has been approved by the Department of Environmental Conservation to build a state-of-the-art black bear cub rehabilitation facility on our campus where rescued cubs can grow strong and wild enough to be safely returned to the Adirondack wilderness.

Please donate today and help us give Adirondack bear cubs the tomorrow that they deserve.
